• Ph.D. Orientation-New Students
  This year's orientation will be held on Wednesday, August 20, and Thursday, August 21, 2008, from 8:00-5:00, 111 Erickson
  
  
• Fall 2008 Comps
  Applications for Comp. Exams in Fall 2008 are due May 9, 2008. This includes an application form that can be downloaded from the website and for those taking Option 2, three forms for each artifacts.
  
  Option 1 departmental exams will be administered between August 18 and 20, 2008. Option 2 artifact 1 will be due on September 15, 2008. Artifacts 2 and 3 will be due September 25, 2008.

• Spring 2008 Comps
  Applications for Comp. Exams in Spring 2008 are due December 7, 2007. This includes an application form that can be downloaded from the website and for those taking Option 2, three forms for each artifacts.
  
  Option 1 departmental exams will be administered between March 17 and 19, 2008. Part 2 "Guidance Committee Question" will take place from March 19-March 29, 2008. Option 2 artifact 1 will be due on March 14, 2008. Artifacts 2 and 3 will be due March 28, 2008.
